Entries quickly filled for the first day of SRSJC’s annual Autumn Jumping Carnival, with limited places in Sunday’s 1.05-1.35m classes open until Wednesday, 23 May at www.globalentriesonline.com.
This is SRSJC’s first fixture outdoors at Brookleigh in two years and the club is looking forward to returning the where it all began 11 years ago. There’s great excitement about jumping there now that the outdoor arena has been extended and fully re-surfaced. The outdoor warm up has also been refurbished.
SRSJC’s May event is the first for the club this year, after severe weather conditions forced the suspension of its April show several weeks ago. The show includes classes from 90cm to 1.35m and features EWA Jumping’s Novice and Bronze Series and EquineWorld Amateur Qualifier plus SRSJC’s own leaderboard classes for Youth, Junior, Young and Senior riders. The club’s new Youth Series (riders 15 years & under) echoes its focus on encouraging riders to progress through its competition season, with early heights set at 90cm progressing to 1.04m later in the year.
Riders interested in entering classes that are already full or regarding scratchings, please text Nanette, 0417 902 734.
